Intrusion Detection/Prevention

Information systems in recent years have become large-scale and complicated, so eradication of vulnerabilities is impossible. The important thing is to always consider the situation where the attack will succeed even if it is unlikely, and it is necessary to design the system assuming the existence of the vulnerability. Intrusion detection and prevention is an important elemental technology that forms the basis of this.

OS Security

At Hashimoto Laboratory, we are researching a method to drastically improve the security resistance of the OS by incorporating important security functions from the application layer into the OS and linking the OS functions of each element of the information system with each other to strengthen the safety of the information system infrastructure.

Malware Analysis

In recent years, malware has been increasing explosively and is steadily improving in quality, which has greatly hindered the development of a sound information society. Hashimoto Laboratory is conducting research and development on methods and tools to support malware analysis.

OSINT/Intelligence Mining

In today's Internet space, illegal activities that can threaten our society, such as buying and selling malware zero-days and conspiring against cyber attacks by hackers, are routinely carried out. At Hashimoto Laboratory, we are advancing research and development of systems that efficiently extract intelligence from the darkweb by applying artificial intelligence technologies.
