For the realization of dependable information systems on which our daily lives and activities depend, system reliability and information security is critical. In our laboratory, many researches are going on to develop concepts and technologies to build secure and reliable systems.

Our Researches

We are developing design methodology of information systems which organize our information society: secure system design, reliable system organization, and long life system design. Though these technologies have been developed separately up to this time, we need to redesign and integrate such technologies to keep information system secure, reliable, and available from the end-user point of view.

We divided our activities into 3 fields. First one is secure application systems design. Second is secure foundation architecture of information systems. Third is network security.
